National Bureau of Statistics informs that, in May 2020, the industrial production decreased by 12,5% compared to the corresponding month of the previous year, as a result of decrease of the quarrying industry, manufacturing industry and the production of electricity, gas, steam, hot water and air conditioning supply.
20.07.2012 Freight and passenger transportation in the Republic of Moldova in January-June 2012
National Bureau of Statistics informs, that in June 2012 enterprises of railway, road, river and air transport, have transported 931,3 thou. tonnes of goods with 9,5% more than in the previous month and with 20,9% more than in June 2011. The turnover of goods in June 2012 summed up 343,4 mio tonne-km, with 5,0% more than in the previous month and with 15,6% - than in June 2011.
30.07.2010 Remuneration of employees in the Republic of Moldova in January-June 2010
National Bureau of Statistics informs that in January-June 2010 the average salary of one employee in national economy constituted 2850,2 Lei and it increased compared to January-June 2009 with 6,6%. The real salary in the same period of time decreased with 0,3%. In the budgetary sector the average salary was 2532,2 Lei, and increased compared to January-June 2009 with 8,0%, in the real sector of economy - 3034,4 Lei and increased compared to respective period of 2009 with 5,9%.

23.07.2010 Retail trade and services provided to population in January-June 2010
National Bureau of Statistics informs that in June 2010 retail trade through commercial units summed up 2010,4 million MDL, that is with 0,2% more than in the prevoius month and with 8,3% more compared to June 2009. The volume of charged services rendered to the population by officially registered enterprises in June 2010 made up 1085,3 million MDL, that is with 4,3% less, in comparable prices, than in the previous month and with 0,2% more compared to June 2009.

National Bureau of Statistics informs that in June 2010 enterprises of railway, road, river and air transport, have transported 668,9 thou. tonnes of goods with 3,6% less than in the previous month and with 20,6% more than in June 2009. The turnover of goods in June 2010 summed up 260,5 mio tonne-km, with 7,6% more than in the previous month and with 21,5% more than in June 2009.
22.07.2010 Industrial activity of the Republic of Moldova in January-June 2010
National Bureau of Statistics informs that in January-June 2010 industrial enterprises of all types of ownership, produced goods to the amount of 12216,1 mio. lei, in current prices. The volume index of industrial production in comparison with January-June 2009 constituted 106,6%, in comparable prices. In June 2010 in comparison with June 2009 this index constituited 108,8%.
19.07.2010 Global agricultural production in January-June 2010
National Bureau of Statistics announces that agricultural production, in all types of households, in January-June 2010 increased with 11,4% against the respective period of the previous year. The increase of global agricultural production was determined by the increase of animal production - with 12,7%, whth a share in total agricultural production of about 89%.
15.07.2010 The evolution of industrial production price indices in the Republic of Moldova in June 2010
National Bureau of Statistics informs that in June 2010 the prices in total for industry have increased in comparison with May 2010 with 0,6%. In comparison with December 2009 the industrial production price index has increased with 5,3%, and with 7,7% in comparison with June 2009.
08.07.2010 Evolution of consumer prices in the Republic of Moldova in June 2010
The National Bureau of Statistics informs that in June 2010 compared to May 2010 the consumer price index (CPI) registered 99,5%, and 107,8% compared to June 2009 (in June 2009 compared to May 2009 CPI registered 99,7% and 99,2% compared to June 2008). From the beginning of the year (June 2010 compared to December 2009) consuemr prices increased with 5,4%.
07.07.2010 External trade activity of the Republic of Moldova in January-May 2010
The National Bureau of Statistics informs that exports of goods in May 2010 registered a value of 107,7 mio. US dollars, which is 6,3% more than in the previous month and 7,2% more than in May 2009. Imports of goods in May 2010 registered a value of 297,4 mln. US dollars, which is with 1,5% more than in the previous month and with 22,4% more than in May 2009.
02.07.2010 Activity of small and medium enterprises in the Republic of Moldova in 2009
National Bureau of Statistics informs that, in 2009 the number of small and medium sized enterprises (hereafter SMSe) was of 43,7 thousand enterprises, or with 2,6 thousand enterprises (with 6,3%) higher than in 2008. The sector of SMSe represents about 97,8% from the total number of enterprises.
