The National Bureau of Statistics informs that in April 2022, industrial production (gross series) decreased by 10,4% compared to the corresponding month of the previous year.
29.06.2009 Remuneration of employees in the Republic of Moldova in January-May 2009
National Bureau of Statistics informs that in January-May 2009 the average salary of one employee in national economy constituted 2641,5 Lei and it increased compared to the same period of the previous year with 11,5%. The real salary in the same period of time increased with 9,9%. In the budgetary sector the average salary was 2296,4 Lei, and increased compared to January-May 2008 with 23,3%, in the real sector of economy - 2845,3 Lei and increased compared to the same perios of the previous year with 7,8%.

National Bureau of Statistics informs that the living subsistence in the first quarter 2009 constituited 1338,4 lei, an increase of 1,5% in comparison to the respective period of the previous year.

National Bureau of Statistics informs that in May 2009 retail sales of goods by all channels of sale summed up 1618,6 mio. lei, an increase of 3,6% in comparison with previous month and a decrease of 4,1% in comparison with May 2008.

National Bureau of Statistics informs that in January-May 2009 industrial enterprises of all types of ownership, produced goods to the amount of 8688,8 mio. lei, in current prices. The volume index of industrial production in comparison with January-May 2008 constituted 74,7% (comparable prices). In May 2009 in comparison with May 2008 this index constituted 76,7%.

National Bureau of Statistics informs that in January-May 2009 enterprises of railway, road, river and air transport, have transported 2775,1 thou. tonnes of goods, or 36,8% of the total volume realized in same period of the previous year. The decrease of the volume of transported goods has been registered by railway (-69,3%), road (-50,0%) and air (-8,6%) transport.

National Bureau of Statistics informs that in May 2009 the prices in total for industry have increased compared to April 2009 with 1,1%. In comparison with December 2008 the industrial production price index has decreased with 2,2%, and with 4,8% in comparison with May 2008.

National Bureau of Statistics presents data on Gross Domestic Product in January-March 2009. In January-March 2009 Gross Domestic Product summed up 12974 mio. lei in current prices, and has decreased by 6,9% in comparison with the same period of the previous year.

The National Bureau of Statistics informs that in May 2009 compared to April 2009 the consumer price indices (CPI) registered 100,2%, and 98,4% compared to May 2008 (in May 2008 compared to April 2008 CPI registered 101,5% and 116,9% compared to May 2007).

National Bureau of Statistics informs that in 2008 an increase of the new-borns has been registered, the live-birth rate being 10,9 new-borns per 1000 inhabitants, compared to 10,6‰ in 2007. The mortality compared to previous year has decreased with 2,6%, the mortality rate being 11,8 deaths per 1000 inhabitants.
