28.01.2010 Freight and passenger transportation in the Republic of Moldova in year 2009
National Bureau of Statistics informs that in December 2009 enterprises of railway, road, river and air transport, have transported 715,2 thou. tonnes of goods with 19,5% less than in the previous month and with 12,7% less than in December 2008. The turnover of goods in December 2009 summed up 321,7 mio tonne-km with 8,6% more than in the previous month and with 1,1% less than in December 2008.
28.01.2010 Retail trade and services provided to population in 2009
National Bureau of Statistics informs that in December 2009 retail trade through commercial units summed up 1995,2 million MDL, that is with 15,1% more than in the prevoius month and with 3,5% less compared to December 2008. The volume of charged services rendered to the population by officially registered enterprises in December 2009 made up 1087,3 million MDL, that is 10,3% more, in comparable prices, than in the previous month and with 4,3% more compared to December 2008.
26.01.2010 Industrial activity of the Republic of Moldova in year 2009
National Bureau of Statistics informs that in January-December 2009 industrial enterprises of all types of ownership, produced goods to the amount of 23266,6 mio. lei, in current prices. The volume index of industrial production in comparison with January-December 2008 constituted 77,8%, in comparable prices. In December 2009 in comparison with December 2008 this index constituted 84,3%.
25.01.2010 Global agricultural production in the Republic of Moldova in 2009
National Bureau of Statistics communicates that agricultural production in all types of households in 2009, according to preliminary estimations, registered a decrease of 9,9% conmpared to 2008. The reduction of global agricultural production was determined by the decrease of vegetal production - with 17,4%, while the animal production registered an increase of 11,8% compared to 2008.

National Bureau of Statistics informs that in December 2009 compared to November 2009 the consumer price index (CPI) registered 100,9%, and 100,4% compared to December 2008 (in December 2008 compared to November 2008, CPI registered 99,8% and 107,3% compared to December 2007.
12.01.2010 External trade activity of the Republic of Moldova in January-November 2009
Exports of goods in November 2009 registered a value of 138,5 mln. US dollars, which is 10,9% more than in the previous month and 12,1% more than in November 2008. Imports of goods in November 2009 registered a value of 329,3 mln. US dollars, which is 8,1% more than in the previous month and 16,0% less than in November 2008.
