21.10.2011 Freight and passenger transportation in the Republic of Moldova in January-September 2011
National Bureau of Statistics informs, that in September 2011 enterprises of railway, road, river and air transport, have transported 1138,4 thou. tonnes of goods, which is with 11,6% more than in the previous month and with 16,7% more than in September 2010. The turnover of goods in September 2011 summed up 341,7 mio. tonne-km, with 3,8% more than in the previous month and with 4,6% more than in September 2010.

National Bureau of Statistics informs, that in September 2011 the prices in total for industry have decreased in comparison with August 2011 with 0,1%. In comparison with December 2010 the industrial production price index has increased with 6,9%, and with 7,9% in comparison with September 2010.

National Bureau of Statistics informs, that industrial production in January-August 2011 compared to January-August 2010 registered an increase of 10,0%. In August 2011 compared to August 2010 the volume index of industrial registered 119,4%.
17.10.2011 Global agricultural production in January-September 2011
National Bureau of Statistics communicates, that agricultural production, in all types of households, in January-September 2011 increased with 3,7% compared to the corresponding period of the previous year. The increase of global agricultural production was determined by the increase of plant production - with 4,2% and animal production with - 2,3%.
11.10.2011 The average yield of crops in the harvest period until October 1, 2011
National Bureau of Statistics informs that the average yield of cereals and leguminous crops (excluding maize) in the harvest period until October 1, 2011 was 25,3 quintals per hectare, which is with 18% more than in 2010, while the average yield of grain maize registered 34,7 quintals per hectare - an increase of 11%.

The National Bureau of Statistics informs, that in September 2011 compared to August 2011 the consumer price index (CPI) registered 100,4%, and 108,8% compared to September 2010. From the beginning of the year consumer prices increased with 5,2%.
10.10.2011 External trade activity of the Republic of Moldova in January-August 2011
National Bureau of Statistics informs, that exports of goods in August 2011 registered a value of 186,0 mio. US dollars, which is with 2,8% more than in the previous month and with 54,6% more than in August 2010. Imports of goods in August 2011 registered a value of 420,6 mio. US dollars, which is with 1,4% more than in the previous month and with 39,5% more than in August 2010.

National Bureau of Statistics informs, that in August 2011 the average gross nominal earnings constituted 3174,8 Lei, which is 8,5% more compared to August 2010 and less with 2,7% compared to July 2011.
