20.02.2018 The touristic activity of tourism agencies and tour-operators in 2017
The National Bureau of Statistics informs that, in 2017 tourism agencies and tour-operators provided tourism services to 285,0 thousand tourists and excursionists, with 21,7% more than in 2016. The growth of the number of tourists and excursionists was caused by increase of outbound tourism, inbound tourism. In the same time, the number of tourists decreased of internal tourism.
19.02.2013 Attendance of establishments of collective touristic accommodation in 2012
National Bureau of Statistics informs that in 2012 268,2 thou. tourists attended the establishments of collective touristic accommodation, of which 179,2 thou. Moldovan tourists (66,8%) and 89,0 thou. foreign tourists (33,2%). In comparison with 2011 the number of tourists has increased (+8,0%), mainly due to the increase of the number of tourists and recreation camps, holiday villages and other recreation structures (+53,0%), hotels and motels (+15,2%), health-care structures (+7,4%).

National Bureau of Statistics informs, that the indices of industrial production in January-December 2012 compared to January-December 2011 constituted 96,9%. In December 2012 compared to December 2011 the indices of industrial production registered 96,3%.
18.02.2013 Turnover in trade and services in 2012
National Bureau of Statistics informs, that in December 2012, turnover in enterprises with main type of activity retail trade increased 7,1% (in comparable prices) compared to previous month, and decreased 12,4% compared to December 2011. In 2012, turnover in retail trade decreased 0,5% (in comparable prices) compared to the previous year.
14.02.2013 External trade activity of the Republic of Moldova in 2012
National Bureau of Statistics informs, that exports of goods in December 2012 registered a value of 187,3 mio. US dollars, which is with 13,2% less than in the previous month and with 14,1% - compared to December 2011. In 2012 exports summed up 2161,8 mio. USD, less than in 2011 with 2,5%. Imports of goods in December 2012 registered a value of 504,5 mio. US dollars, which is with 5,6% more than in the previous month and with 5,7% less compared to December 2011. In 2012 imports summed up 5213,1 mio. US dollars, more than in 2011 with 0,4%.
13.02.2013 Average earnings in 2012 and December 2012
National Bureau of Statistics informs, that the average salary in national economy constituted 3477,7 Lei in 2012, and it increased in nominal value with 8,9% and in real value (adjusted to consumer price index) - with 4,1%. In December 2012, the average gross nominal earnings represented 3888,8 Lei and incrased with 4,9% more compared to December 2011.
