National Bureau of Statistics informs, that in quarter IV 2012 living subsistence constituted in average per person 1511,9 lei, which is with 6,9% more than in quarter IV 2011. The increase of the living subsistence is determined mainly by the increase of prices, especially for foodstuff products.
29.03.2013 Labour force in the Republic of Moldova - employment and unemployment in 2012
National Bureau of Statistics informs that, in 2012 the economically active population (employed population plus unemployed persons) of the Republic of Moldova was 1214,5 thousand persons, less with 3,4% (-43,0 thousand) compared to the previous year. Active population structure has changed, as follows: the share of employment increased from 93,3% to 94,4% and the percentage of unemployed decreased from 6,7% to 5,6%.
28.03.2013 Population incomes and expenditures in quarter IV 2012
National Bureau of Statistics informs, that in quarter IV 2012, monthly disposable incomes of population summed up in average per person 1572,5 lei, which is with 3,4% more than in the similar period of 2012. Monthly population expenditures in quarter IV 2012 in average per person constituted 1624,4 lei, which is with 3,9% more than in the corresponding period of 2012.
25.03.2013 Freight and passenger transportation in the Republic of Moldova in January-February 2013
National Bureau of Statistics informs that in February 2013 enterprises of railway, road, river and air transport, have transported 649,9 thou. tonnes of goods with 72,5% more than in the previous month and with 47,3% - compared to February 2012. The turnover of goods in February 2013 summed up 298,5 mio. tonne-km, with 64,5% more than in the previous month and with 28,3% - compared to February 2012.

National Bureau of Statistics informs, that in January 2013 the average gross nominal earnings constituted 3413,8 Lei and it increased with 8,8% compared to January 2012. The index of the real salary in January 2013 compared to January 2012 was 104,0%.
18.03.2013 Industrial activity of the Republic of Moldova in January 2013
National Bureau of Statistics informs, that the indices of industrial production in January 2013 compared to January 2012 constituted 97,9%. The decrease of industrial production was determined by the reduction of the production volume in mining industry with 43,0% and in the manufacturing industry - with 2,9%. Simultaneously, in the reference month an increase of 0,8% was registered in energy sector.

National Bureau of Statistics informs that, according to preliminary data, in 2012, Gross Domestic Product summed up 87 847 million lei, current market prices, has decreased - in real terms - with 0,8% compared to 2011 and increase with 74,8% and 24,1% compared with 2000 and 2005.

National Bureau of Statistics communicates that 36,6 thou. crimes were registered in 2012, which is 4,3% more than in 2011. The number of registered crimes per 10 thousand inhabitants was in average 103 cases compared to 99 crimes in 2011.

The National Bureau of Statistics informs that, in the IV-th quarter 2012 the economically active population (employed population and unemployed persons) of the Republic of Moldova was 1200,7 thousand persons, less with 1,3% (-15,8 thou.) persons compared to the IV-th quarter 2011. The structure of the active population changed as follows: the share of employed persons incresead from 93,8% to 94,1%, while the share of unemployed persons decreased from 6,2% to 5,9%.
05.03.2013 The evolution of sale prices of agricultural products by agricultural enterprises in 2012
National Bureau of Statistics informs, that, that producer prices (average sale prices by agricultural enterprises) of agricultural products in 2012 compared to 2011 increased 17,7%. Average selling prices for plant products increased with 19,1%, for animal products – with 13,1%.
