National Bureau of Statistics informs that, average life length in the Republic of Moldova in 2014 constituted 71,5 years, including 67,5 years for men and 75,4 years for women. In this year was registered an increase of deaths number compared to 2013, the mortality rate being 11,1 deaths per 1000 inhabitants. The infant mortality rate represented 9,6 deaths of children under 1 year per 1000 live births.

National Bureau of Statistics informs that during January-June 2013, the agricultural output of agricultural holdings of all types represented 102,8% as compared to the same period of 2012. The growth in the agricultural output was determined by the increase of vegetal production with 29,0% and livestock production less - with 1,9%. In the total agricultural output, the livestock production has a share of 81%, whereas the vegetal production – 19%.

National Bureau of Statistics informs, that in May 2013 the average gross nominal earnings constituted 3758,5 Lei and it increased with 7,7% compared to May 2012. The index of the real salary in May 2013 compared to May 2012 was 101,9%.

National Bureau of Statistics informs that in June 2013 enterprises of railway, road, river and air transport, have transported 1154,3 thou. tonnes of goods with 22,0% more than in the previous month and with 8,6% - compared to June 2012. The turnover of goods in June 2013 summed up 367,0 mio. tonne-km, with 6,3% more than in the previous month and with 2,3% - compared to June 2012.

National Bureau of Statistics informs, that the indices of industrial production in January-May 2013 compared to January-May 2012 constituted 105,9%. In May 2013 compared to May 2012 the indices of industrial production registered 104,2%.

National Bureau of Statistics informs, that since 2000 a continuous increase in life expectancy can be observed, except for in 2005, when a high level of general and infant mortality was registered. In 2012, this indicator registered its maximum duration - 71,1 years, accordingly 67,2 years for men and 75,0 years for women. The significant increase in life expectancy was influenced by lower general mortality rate - 11,1 deaths per 1000 inhabitants, and lower infant mortality rate, which represented 9,8 deaths of children under 1 year per 1,000 live births.

National Bureau of Statistics informs, that exports of goods in May 2013 registered a value of 165,6 mio. US dollars, with 13,4% less than in the previous month and with 6,1% - compared to May 2012. Imports of goods in May 2013 registered a value of 409,9 mio. US dollars, with 15,7% less than in the previous month and with 4,3% -compared to May 2012.
