National Bureau of Statistics informs, that the size of the living subsistence in the first half of 2013 constituted in average 1608,3 MDL for a person per month.There have been revealed significant differences depending on the residence area, the highest value of the living subsistence being registered for population of big cities (minicipalitiues Chisinau and Balti) - 1692,8 MDL, or 2,9% more as compared with other towns, and 8,3% more as compared with the rural localities, where this indicator represented 1563,2 MDL.
26.09.2013 Elderly population in the Republic of Moldova in 2012
National Bureau of Statistics informs, that at the beginning of the year 2013 in the Repblic of Moldova lived 544,4 thousand persons of 60 years old and over, of which women represent more than a half (60,3%). Two thirds of the entire aged population live in rural area. Every third person is between 60-64 years old and 14,1% are persons wich are more than 80 years old.

National Bureau of Statistics informs that in August 2013 enterprises of railway, road, river and air transport, have transported 1365,7 thou. tonnes of goods with 1,1% more than in the previous month and with 36,3% - compared to August 2012. The turnover of goods in August 2013 summed up 413,3 mio. tonne-km, with 6,8% more than in the previous month and with 29,1% - compared to August 2012.

National Bureau of Statistics informs, that in July 2013 the average gross nominal earnings constituted 3908,5 Lei and it increased with 9,3% compared to July 2012. The index of the real salary in July 2013 compared to July 2012 was 104,8%.

National Bureau of Statistics informs, that the indices of industrial production in January-July 2013 compared to January-July 2012 constituted 106,3%. In July 2013 compared to July 2012 the indices of industrial production registered 108,5%.
18.09.2013 Population incomes and expenditures in quarter II 2013
National Bureau of Statistics informs, that in quarter II 2013, monthly disposable incomes of population summed up in average per person 1667,2 lei, which is with 9,8% more than in the similar period of 2012. Monthly population expenditures in quarter II 2013 in average per person constituted 1761,8 lei, which is with 11,3% more than in the corresponding period of 2012.
16.09.2013 Gross Domestic Product in the Republic of Moldova in January-June 2013
National Bureau of Statistics informs, that in January-June 2013, Gross Domestic Product constituted in nominal value 43376 million lei, current market prices, and has increased - in real terms (average prices of 2012) - with 4,9% compared with January-June 2012. In the quarter II of 2013, the Gross Domestic Product amounted to 23703 million lei, exceeding the results of the same period of the previous year with 6,1%.
12.09.2013 External trade activity of the Republic of Moldova in January-July 2013
National Bureau of Statistics informs, that exports of goods in July 2013 registered a value of 202,1 mio. US dollars, with 10,4% more than in the previous month and with 24,0% - compared to July 2012. Imports of goods in July 2013 registered a value of 476,0 mio. US dollars, with 4,6% more than in the previous month and with 14,2% - compared to July 2012.
02.09.2013 Labour force in the Republic of Moldova - employment and unemployment in the 2nd quarter 2013
National Bureau of Statistics informs that, in the 2nd quarter of 2013 the economically active population (employed population plus unemployed persons) of the Republic of Moldova was 1288,4 thousand persons, more with 1,7% (21,5 thousand) compared to the 2nd quarter of 2012. The share of employed population in the economically active population decreased with 0,2 percent points. In the rural area, this share decreased with 0,8 percent points, with no chage in the urban area.
