27.11.2014 Investments in long-term tangible assets in the Republic of Moldova in January-September 2014
National Bureau of Statistics communicates that, in January-September 2014 enterprises and organizations all types of economic activities carried out investments to the amount of 10435,2 mio. Lei (current prices). This indicator is in increase with 2,1% (comparable prices) as compared with the corresponding period of the previous year.
27.11.2014 Number of persons with disabilities
National Bureau of Statistics informs that, based on the last country estimations, about 184,3 thousand people of the RM population lives with some form of disability, of whom 14 thousand are children aged 0-17 years. This is higher than the previous five years with 3,8% per hole, while a decrease of 7,9% is registered in the number of children situation. People with disabilities represent 5,2% of total population and the children with disabilities - 2% of the total number of children in Moldova. On average, from 10 thousand of inhabitants there are 518 people with disabilities, while for 10 thousand of children there are 199 children that meet significant difficulties in functioning. Almost every seventh person with disability falls into the category of severe disability.

National Bureau of Statistics informs that, in January-September 2014, 2365 apartments with the total area of 246,6 thou. m² were completed. This indicator is in decreased with 15,5% as compared with the corresponding period of the previous year.
21.11.2014 Freight and passenger transportation in the Republic of Moldova in January-October 2014
National Bureau of Statistics informs that, in October 2014 enterprises of railway, road, river and air transport, have transported 1648,0 thou. tonnes of goods with 7,6% less than in the previous month and with 0,9% more compared to October 2013. The turnover of goods in October 2014 summed up 404,2 mio. tonne-km, with 0,8% less than in the previous month and with 7,8% compared to October 2013.
20.11.2014 Turnover in trade and services in January-September 2014
National Bureau of Statistics informs that, in September 2014, turnover in enterprises with main type of activity retail trade (with the exception trade of motor vehicles and motorcycles) decreased with 7,8% (in comparable prices) compared to previous month, and increased with 3,0% compared to September 2013. In January-September 2014, turnover in retail trade (with the exception trade of motor vehicles and motorcycles) increased with 4,4% (in comparable prices) compared to the corresponding period of the previous year.

National Bureau of Statistics informs that, in September 2014 the average gross nominal earnings constituted 4267,7 Lei and it increased with 13,5% compared to September 2013. The index of the real salary in September 2014 compared to September 2013 was 108,3%.
19.11.2014 The touristic activity of tourism agencies and tour-operators in January-September 2014
The National Bureau of Statistics informs that, in January-September 2014 tourism agencies and tour-operators provided tourism services to 202,8 thousand tourists and excursionists, with 15,7% more than in the corresponding period of 2013. In January-September 2014, compared to the corresponding period of 2013, the number of internal and departed tourism organized by the tourist agencies and tour-operators increased correspondingly with 31,9%, and 14,3%, while the number of arrived tourists decreased with 5,5%.
17.11.2014 Attendance of establishments of collective touristic accommodation in January-September 2014
National Bureau of Statistics informs that, in January-September 2014, 227,9 thou. tourists attended establishments of collective touristic accommodation, of which 160,8 thou. were Moldovan tourists (70,6% of total) and 67,0 thou. - foreign tourists (29,4%). In comparison with January-September 2013 the number of tourists has increased (+3,5%), mainly due to the increased of the number of tourists in touristic villas, recreation camps (+51,5%), hotels and motels (+4,7%) and health structures (+3,6%).

National Bureau of Statistics informs that, the indices of industrial production in January-September 2014 compared to January-September 2013 constituted 104,7%. In September 2014 compared to September 2013 the indices of industrial production registered 107,4%.
12.11.2014 External trade activity of the Republic of Moldova in January-September 2014
National Bureau of Statistics informs that, exports of goods in September 2014 registered a value of 184,9 mio. US dollars, with 4,9% more than in the previous month and with 6,2% less - compared to September 2013. Imports of goods in September 2014 registered a value of 458,9 mio. US dollars, with 11,1% more than in the previous month and with 0,7% - compared to September 2013.
20.11.2012 Attendance of establishments of collective touristic accommodation in January-September 2012
National Bureau of Statistics informs that in January-September 2012 220,7 thou. tourists attended the establishments of collective touristic accommodation, of which 154,7 thou. Moldovan tourists (70,1%) and 66,0 thou. foreign tourists (29,9%). In comparison with January-September 2011 the number of tourists has increased with 8,8%, mainly due to the increase of the number of tourists and recreation camps, holiday villages and other recreation structures (+54,6%), hotels and motels (+18,2%), health-care structures (+10,4%), tourist and agrotourist pensions (+6,2%).
