National Bureau of Statistics communicates that, in January-December 2014 enterprises and organizations all types of economic activities carried out investments to the amount of 20352,5 mio. Lei (current prices). This indicator is in increase with 1,8% (comparable prices) as compared with the corresponding period of the previous year.

National Bureau of Statistics communicates that, following the data of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, in 2014, there were registered 41,8 thousand crimes on the territory of the republic, representing an increase of 9,5% as compared to the previous year and compared to 2010 period the crime level increased 1,3 times. Crime rates is 117 offenses per 10,000 inhabitants, compared to 94 offenses in 2010.

National Bureau of Statistics informs that, in December 2014, the turnover volume of enterprises with main economic activity in retail trade (with the exception trade of motor vehicles and motorcycles) registered an increase of 22,2% (in comparable prices) compared to previous month and 18,4% compared to December 2013. In 2014, the turnover volume for retail trade (with the exception trade of motor vehicles and motorcycles) increased with 7,5% (in comparable prices) against the previous year.

National Bureau of Statistics informs that, the average salary in national economy constituted 4172,0 Lei in 2013, and it increased in nominal value with 10,8% and in real value (adjusted to consumer price index) - with 5,4%. In December 2014, the average gross nominal earnings represented 4865,4 Lei and incrased with 13,7% more compared to December 2013.

National Bureau of Statistics informs that, exports of goods in December 2014 registered a value of 181,3 mio. US dollars, which is with 13,0% less than in the previous month and with 11,5% - compared to December 2013. In 2014 exports summed up 2339,5 mio. USD, less than in 2013 with 3,7%. Imports of goods in December 2014 registered a value of 505,1 mio. US dollars, which is with 8,8% more than in the previous month and with 9,0% less compared to December 2013. In 2014 imports summed up 5317,0 mio. USD, less than in 2013 with 3,2%.

National Bureau of Statistics informs that, the indices of industrial production in January-December 2014 compared to January-December 2013 constituted 107,3%. In December 2014 compared to December 2013 the indices of industrial production registered 106,7%.

National Bureau of Statistics informs that, in 2014 tourist agencies and tour-operators provided tourist services to 238,1 thousand tourists and excursionists, that is 16,2% more than in 2013. 12.02.2015 Attendance of establishments of collective touristic accommodation in 2014
National Bureau of Statistics informs that, in 2014 283,0 thou. tourists attended the establishments of collective touristic accommodation, of which 189,1 thou. Moldovan tourists (66,8%) and 93,9 thou. foreign tourists (33,2%). In comparison with 2013 the number of tourists has increased (+4,2%), mainly due to the increased of the number of tourists in touristic villas, recreation camps (+45,8%), hotels and motels (+7,6%) and health structures (+2,7%).
