In 2016 enterprises and organizations of all forms of ownership carried out investments in long-term tangible assets to the amount of 19664,1 mio. lei (current prices) from all financing sources. As compared to 2015 this volume decreased with 12,8% (comparable prices).

National Bureau of Statistics informs that, volume index of global agricultural production, in all types of households (agricultural enterprises, farms and population households) in January-June 2017 summed up 4566 mio. Lei, that is 95,0% in comparable prices compared to January-June 2016.
25.07.2017 Freight and passenger transportation in the Republic of Moldova in January-June 2017
National Bureau of Statistics informs that, in June enterprises of railway, road, river and air transport, have transported 1,3 mio. tonnes of goods, with 6,8% less than in the previous month and with 20,8% more compared to June 2016. The turnover of goods in June 2017 summed up 341,9 mio. tonne-km, with 4,7% less than in May 2017 and with 8,0% more compared to June 2016.

National Bureau of Statistics informs that, average life length in the Republic of Moldova in 2016 constituted 72,2 years, including 68,1 years for men and 76,1 years for women. In 2016 was registered a decrease of deaths with 1417 persons compared to 2015, the mortality rate being 10,8 deaths per 1000 inhabitants.

National Bureau of Statistics informs that the industrial production in May 2017 increased by 7,0% compared to the corresponding month of the previous year, and as adjusted series depending on the number of working days and seasonality - by 7,1 %.
