The National Bureau of Statistics informs that on 1 January 2018, the dwelling stock in the Republic of Moldova constituted 1287,3 thousand dwellings with a total area of 87265,2 thousand m2.
25.06.2018 Freight and passenger transportation in the Republic of Moldova in January-May 2018
National Bureau of Statistics informs that, in January-May 2018 enterprises of railway, road, river and air transport, have transported 6,1 mio. tonnes of goods, with 13,4% more than in the corresponding period of the previous year. The turnover of goods summed up 1762,8 mio. tonne-km, with 5,2% more than in the January-May 2017.
19.06.2018 The evolution of industrial production prices in the Republic of Moldova in May 2018
National Bureau of Statistics informs that, in May 2018 the producer prices in industry decreased with 0,3% compared to April 2018, and increased with 0,3% compared to May 2017. Simultaneously, the prices decreased with 0,5% compared to December 2017.
18.06.2018 Population incomes and expenditures in quarter I 2018
National Bureau of Statistics informs that, in quarter I 2018, monthly disposable incomes of population summed up in average per person 2353 lei, which is with 10,3% more than in the similar period of 2017. In real terms population incomes registered an increase of 4,8%.
15.06.2018 Gross domestic product in the first quarter of 2018
National Bureau of Statistics informs that, in the first quarter of 2018 the Gross domestic product on gross series totaled 37609 mil. lei current market prices, increasing - in real terms - by 3,7% compared to first quarter of 2017. On the series seasonally adjusted, Gross domestic product increased by 3,6% compared to the first quarter of 2017 and decreased by 0,8% compared to the fourth quarter of 2017.
12.06.2018 Industrial activity of the Republic of Moldova in January-April 2018
National Bureau of Statistics informs that, in April 2018, the industrial production increased by 13,3% compared to the corresponding month of the previous year, as a result of increase of the manufacturing industry and the production of electricity, gas, steam, hot water and air conditioning supply. In the same time, the quarrying industry registered a decrease.
11.06.2018 Evolution of consumer prices in the Republic of Moldova in May 2018
The National Bureau of Statistics informs that in May 2018 the annual inflation registered 2,8%, including: food products – 4,2%, nonfood products – 2,7% and services – 0,4%. Also the consumer price index in May 2018 compared to April 2018 registered 100,0%.
07.06.2018 External trade activity of the Republic of Moldova in January-April 2018
National Bureau of Statistics informs that, exports of goods in April 2018 registered a value of 199,9 mio. US dollars, with 17,5% less than in the previous month and with 29,6% more compared to April 2017, and imports summed up 1770,8 mio. USD, more than in the corresponding period of 2017 with 27,2%.
