National Bureau of Statistics informs that in 2017 were put into operation 9249 dwellings with total area of 700,4 m², or with 35,9% more than in 2016.
24.07.2018 Freight and passenger transportation in the Republic of Moldova in January-June 2018
National Bureau of Statistics informs that, in January-June 2018 enterprises of railway, road, river and air transport, have transported 7,7 mio. tonnes of goods, with 14,9% more than in the corresponding period of the previous year. The turnover of goods summed up 2157,3 mio. tonne-km, with 6,8% more than in the January-June 2017.

National Bureau of Statistics informs that, in May 2018, the industrial production (gross series) increased by 10,0% compared to the corresponding month of the previous year, as a result of increase of the mining and quarrying industry (+19,2%), of the manufacturing industry (+8,1%) and the production of electricity, gas, steam, hot water and air conditioning supply (+22,1%).

National Bureau of Statistics informs that, in 2017 the number of small and medium sized enterprises (SME) was 53,6 thousand enterprises, and represents about 98,6% from the total number of enterprises.The number of employees working in SME constituted 323,3 thou. persons, which is 61,2% of total number of employees.
06.07.2018 External trade activity of the Republic of Moldova in January-May 2018
National Bureau of Statistics informs that, exports of goods in May 2018 registered a value of 223,0 mio. US dollars, with 11,6% more than in the previous month and with 27,6% more compared to May 2017. Imports of goods in May 2018 registered a value of 505,4 mio. US dollars, with 13,7% more than in the previous month and with 26,2% more compared to May 2017.
