National Bureau of Statistics informs that, in the second quarter 2018 the average gross nominal earnings constituted 6369,8 Lei, an increase of 13,0% compared to the second quarter 2017.
24.08.2018 Freight and passenger transportation in the Republic of Moldova in January-July 2018
National Bureau of Statistics informs that, in January-July 2018 enterprises of railway, road, river and air transport, have transported 9,6 mio. tonnes of goods, with 15,0% more than in the corresponding period of the previous year. The turnover of goods summed up 2581,8 mio. tonne-km, with 6,4% more than in the January-July 2017.

National Bureau of Statistics informs that in January-June 2018 were put into operation 2471 dwellings with total area of 208,1 m², or with 36,5% less than in January-June 2017.

National Bureau of Statistics informs that, in January-June 2018, turnover in retail trade increased with 6,4% compared to the corresponding period of the previous year.
21.08.2018 The activity of insurers in January-June 2018
National Bureau of Statistics informs that in January-June 2018 the gross written premiums amounted to 705,7 million lei, increasing by 6,4% compared to the gross premiums written in the corresponding period of 2017. Compensation and insurance indemnities paid amounted to 293,3 million lei, increasing by 20,9% compared to the payments made in the corresponding period of 2017.
17.08.2018 The touristic activity of tourism agencies and tour-operators in January-June 2018
The National Bureau of Statistics informs that, in January-June 2018 tourism agencies and tour-operators provided tourism services to 135,1 thousand tourists and excursionists, with 22,4% more than in the corresponding period of 2017. The growth of the number of tourists and excursionists was caused by increase of outbound tourism, inbound tourism. In the same time, the number of tourists decreased of internal tourism.
10.08.2018 Industrial activity of the Republic of Moldova in January-June 2018
National Bureau of Statistics informs that, in June 2018, the industrial production increased by 10,2% compared to the corresponding month of the previous year, as a result of increase of the mining and quarrying industry, of the manufacturing industry and the production of electricity, gas, steam, hot water and air conditioning supply.
10.08.2018 Evolution of consumer prices in the Republic of Moldova in Jule 2018
The National Bureau of Statistics informs that in Jule 2018 the annual inflation registered 3,0%, including: food products – 5,5%, nonfood products – 3,4% and services – (-1,7%). The consumer price index in Jule 2018 compared to June 2018 registered 98,8%.
07.08.2018 External trade activity of the Republic of Moldova in January-June 2018
National Bureau of Statistics informs that in January-June 2018 exports summed up 1315,2 mio. USD, more than in the corresponding period of 2017 with 27,9% and imports summed up 2735,2 mio. USD, more than in the corresponding period of 2017 with 25,4%.
