National Bureau of Statistics informs that, global agricultural production, in all types of households (agricultural enterprises, farms and population households) in January-March 2018 summed up 1650 mio. Lei, that is 98,0% in comparable prices compared to January-March 2018.

National Bureau of Statistics informs that, the research and development activity in 2018 was conducted in 64 units, of which 40 institutes and/or research centres, 17 higher education institutions and 7 - other types of units.From the total number of units, 51 units or 80% are in state ownership.
19.04.2019 Industrial activity of the Republic of Moldova in January-February 2019
National Bureau of Statistics informs that, in February 2019, the industrial production increased by 3,8% compared to the corresponding month of the previous year, as a result of increase of the quarrying industry, manufacturing industry and production of electricity, gas, steam, hot water and air conditioning supply.

The National Bureau of Statistics communicates data on the activity of early education institutions in 2018. By destination, 3 types of institutions were distinguished: 1471 - with general destination, 5 - sanatorials and 8 - with special destinations. Fifteen institutions of the total number of early education institutions are private ownership type.
15.04.2019 Freight and passenger transportation in the Republic of Moldova in January-February 2019
National Bureau of Statistics informs that, in January-February 2019 enterprises of railway, road, river and air transport, have transported 2,0 mio. tonnes of goods, with 4,5% more than in the corresponding period of the previous year. The turnover of goods summed up 706,9 mio. tonne-km, with 9,0% more than in the corresponding period 2018.

National Bureau of Statistics informs that, in January-February 2019 exports summed up 475,7 mio. USD, more than in the corresponding period of 2018 with 9,1% and imports summed up 831,8 mio. USD, more than in the corresponding period of 2018 with 3,7%.

The National Bureau of Statistics informs that in march 2019 the annual inflation registered 2,8%, including: food products – 3,8%, nonfood products – 3,7% and services – 0,1%. Also the consumer price index in March 2019 compared to February 2019 registered 100,5%.

National Bureau of Statistics informs that, the size of the living subsistence in 2018 constituted in average per month for a person 1891,0 lei, which is with 1,5% more than in 2017.
01.04.2019 Population incomes and expenditures in 2018
National Bureau of Statistics informs that, in 2018 monthly disposable incomes of population summed up in average per person 2383,1 lei, which is with 6,2% more than in 2017. Monthly population expenditures in 2018 in average per person constituted 2407,9 lei, which is with 7,0% more than in 2017.
