The National Bureau of Statistics informs that on January 1, 2020 the dwelling stock of the Republic of Moldova constituted 1302,1 thousand dwellings with the total area of 88534,3 thousand m2.
19.06.2020 Industrial activity of the Republic of Moldova in January-April 2020
National Bureau of Statistics informs that, in April 2020, the industrial production decreased by 25,0% compared to the corresponding month of the previous year, as a result of decrease of the quarrying industry and manufacturing industry. In the same time the production of electricity, gas, steam, hot water and air conditioning supply registered an increase.
15.06.2020 Gross Domestic Product in the Republic of Moldova in the first quarter of 2020
The National Bureau of Statistics informs that, in the first quarter of 2020 the Gross Domestic Product on gross series totaled 43685 million lei current market prices, increasing - in real terms - by 0,9% compared to the first quarter of 2019. On the seasonally adjusted series, Gross Domestic Product increased by 1,2% compared to the first quarter of 2019 and with 0,5% - compared to the fourth quarter of 2019.
15.06.2020 Freight and passenger transportation in the Republic of Moldova in January-April 2020
The National Bureau of Statistics informs that 949,7 mio passengers were transported with public transport in January-April 2020, with 89,3% less than in the similar period of 2019. The passenger's journey constituted 30,1 million passenger-kilometers, with 93,3% less than January-April 2019.

The National Bureau of Statistics informs that, in January-April 2020 exports summed up 824,8 mio. USD, less than in the corresponding period of 2019 with 13,0%, and imports of goods amounted to 1650,8 mio. USD, less than in the corresponding period of 2019 with 12,3%.
10.06.2020 Evolution of consumer prices in the Republic of Moldova in May 2020
The National Bureau of Statistics informs that in May 2020 the annual inflation registered 4,05%, including: food products – 7,79%, nonfood products – 0,56% and services – 3,41%. Also the consumer price index in May 2020 compared to April 2020 registered 100,22%.
