The National Bureau of Statistics approved by order no. 51 of 31 December 2021 „Regulation on access to individual data for scientific purposes" and „Publication guide for examining requests for access to individual data for scientific purposes".
11.01.2021 The "Statistical Yearbook of the Republic of Moldova", the 2020 edition was published and posted in electronic format
The yearbook contains the most recent statistical data available in various fields, for economic and social characterization of the country in 2019, as well as the evolution in recent years of the main indicators. The data on some indicators are revised compared to those previously published, and for 2019 some indicators are preliminary and in further editions can be revised.

National Statistical Institute of the Republic of Bulgaria
National Bureau of Statistics (NBS) signed today, January 29, an Agreement on Statistical Cooperation with National Statistical Institute of the Republic of Bulgaria. The Agreement on Statistical Cooperation is part of the Association Agreement (Title IV, Chapter 6 Statistics) between the Republic of Moldova and the European Union, signed in Brussels on 27.06.2014.

This publication contains detailed information on the extensive socio-economic situation of the country and represents a working tool for the development and preparation of the necessary development programs for both state authorities and local government as well as for economic units and other users.
31.01.2018 Experts of the Statistics Denmark visiting the National Bureau of Statistics
On January 30th, Danish experts: Mrs. Silja Emmel and Mr. Jesper Ellemose Skou Jensen visited the National Bureau of Statistics. During the meeting, the experts presented an overview of the institution's activity, organization and functioning and other specific aspects of management.

The publication contains quarterly statistical information which presents the economic, social and demographic situation of the municipality Chisinau. The publication contains statistical indicators regarding industry, agriculture, investments in long term tangible assets and construction, transport, communications, tourism, domestic trade of goods, insurance, work remuneration, labour force market, unemployment, demographic situation, crimes.
02.01.2018 The statistical compilation "Natural resources and environment in Republic of Moldova", edition 2017, published on the web
The publication contains statistics concerning the air protection in atmosphere, the use of aquatic resources, the existence of land and forestry resources, formation and use of consumption and production waste, protected natural areas, the association of hunting, violations of ecologic legislation. For the first time chapters regarding natural disasters and change of weather were included in the publication. Also, the compilation contains data concerning demographic situation and health conditions of population, some economical indicators. There is a special compartment dedicated to environment state in cities.
13.01.2017 Statistical Yearbook of the Republic of Moldova, edition 2016 was published
National Bureau of Statistics has published the "Statistical Yearbook of the Republic of Moldova", edition 2016 in printed form and on CD-ROM. The Yearbook is structured in 24 chapters and includes 330 tables and diagrams. Each chapter contains methodological notes for basic indicators.

The publication presents the results of enterprises activity (including small and medium) received as a result of data processing of the Sampling Structural Survey spent in 2015, with application of sample survey methods. The Structural Survey contains a set of indicators, by means of which the whole industrial and commercial system of the enterprise is characterized.

The publication contains information on medical and demographical aspects of population’s health, health resources, and of separate socio-demographic groups, sanatorium treatment, leisure, as well as data on living conditions, labour market situation in this field, financing and investments in health protection, environment situation etc. Current edition was completed with new tables, including a new chapter with the main indicators in territorial aspect.

The compilation presents statistical data in the form of tables from various fields: territorial-administrative organization, environment, population, labour force, population incomes and expenditures, dwellings, education, health protection, culture, tourism, crimes, industry, agriculture, investments in long term assets, constructions, transport information technologies, entrepreneurship.It is worth mentioning that the publication includes a new presentation of the main indicators in the form of maps, 43 in total, which makes it easier for visualizing.

National Bureau for Statistics presents the "Energy Balance of the Republic of Moldova, edition 2008". This compilation contains detailed information on the creation of primary and total energy resources, distribution and final consumption of energy by main economic activities and branches of industry, as well as the characteristic of energy equipment: installed capacity of electric power stations, consumption of fuel for production of electricity and thermal energy. This edition contains time series for 2000-2007.

National Bureau of Statistics informs about the publishung of the statistical publication "Aspects of the standard of living of the Population". The publication contains information regarding main social and economic aspects which characterize the welfare level of the population, especially incomes, expenditures, housing conditions, availability of durable goods, household food consumption etc. The information is presented based on the Household Budget Survey in the Republic of Moldova for 2007.
