The analytical framework of SWTS allows users to assess, first, the characteristics of young people who are still in school, who are employed (including self-employment), who are unemployed or are outside the labour force for reasons other than training/learning within the education system. The "School-to-Work Transition Survey" is a complementary module attached to Labour Force Survey, which was conducted in March 2013.

National Bureau of Statistics launches a new interactive tool “Life expectancy calculator”. The calculator calculates the estimative number of years that a person from the Republic of Moldova would live, based on the information given on sex, age (0 to 90 years) and residence area (urban/rural).

The publication presents the results of enterprises activity (including small and medium) received as a result of data processing of the Sampling Structural Survey spent in 2012, with application of sample survey methods. The Structural Survey contains a set of indicators, by means of which the whole industrial and commercial system of the enterprise is characterized. Analytical tables containing main economical indicators, including by types of activities, forms of ownership and size of enterprise are presented.

02.10.2013 The use of administrative data for statistical purposes
This was the theme of the international seminar held from October 1-2 in Chisinau. The event was organized by the National Bureau of Statistics (NBS) jointly with Statistics Norway. Within the seminar was examined current situation on NBS insurance with administrative data by public authorities and other institutions for producing official statistics focus on the problems and how to solve them.

This synthesis provides detailed data on the use of time by Moldova's inhabitants: the types of performed activities (What are they doing?), the length of time for these activities (How much time?), as well as the context in which they are made (Where? The compilation contains tables with key indicators that describe the time spent by the residents of Moldova during the day, disaggregated by activities and the main socio-economic-demographic characteristics of the persons aged 10 years and older.
