National Bureau of Statistics informs that in 2018 were put into operation 7301 dwellings with total area of 551,4 thou. m2, or with 21,3% down than in 2017.
19.07.2019 Industrial activity of the Republic of Moldova in January-May 2019
National Bureau of Statistics informs that, in May 2019, the industrial production (gross series) decreased by 5,4% compared to the corresponding month of the previous year, as a result of decrease of the quarrying industry (-17,0%), manufacturing industry (-5,3%) and production of electricity, gas, steam, hot water and air conditioning supply (-2,6%).

National Bureau of Statistics presents statistical information regarding number of population with usual residence, which contains those persons that have lived continuously for most of the last 12 months in Republic of Moldova, not including temporary absences. Population estimate start with the corrected estimates of population wit usual residence from the Population and Housing Census 2014 to which there are added the births, subtracted the deaths, and added the migratory balance.

National Bureau of Statistics informs that, in January-May 2019 exports summed up 1159,3 mio. USD, more than in the corresponding period of 2018 with 5,3% and imports summed up 2362,2 mio. USD, more than in the corresponding period of 2018 with 3,8%.
15.07.2019 Freight and passenger transportation in the Republic of Moldova in January-May 2019
The National Bureau of Statistics informs that 43,2 million passengers were transported with public transport in January-May 2019, with 3,4% more than in the similar period of 2018. The passenger's journey constituted 2172,7 million passenger-kilometers, with 5,6% more than January-May 2018.

The National Bureau of Statistics informs that in June 2019 the annual inflation registered 4,4%, including: food products – 7,3%, nonfood products – 4,4% and services – (-0,3%). Also the consumer price index in June 2019 compared to May 2019 registered 99,8%.
10.07.2019 Activity of small and medium enterprises in the Republic of Moldova in 2018
National Bureau of Statistics informs that, in 2018 the number of small and medium sized enterprises was 55,7 thousand enterprises, and represents about 98,7% from the total number of enterprises. The number of employees working in SME constituted 328 thou. persons, which is 60,7% of total number of employees. The turnover in SME in 2018 summed up 144159,9 mio.lei, 40,4% of total turnover in economy.
