01.12.2020 Number of persons with disabilities in the Republic of Moldova in 2019
On January 1, 2020, according to the National Social Insurance House, the estimated number of people with disabilities in the Republic of Moldova accounted for 177,0 thousand people, including 10,7 thousand children aged 0-17 years. People with disabilities represented 6,7% out of the total number of population with usual residence, and children with disabilities accounted for 1,9% out of the total number of children with usual residence in the Republic of Moldova.

National Bureau of Statistics informs, that in November 2011 enterprises of railway, road, river and air transport, have transported 1036,1 thou. tonnes of goods, which is with 2,4% more than in the previous month and with 10,0% more than in November 2010.

National Bureau of Statistics informs, that at the beginning of 2011/12 school year, the network of primary and general secondary education institutions included 1460 schools, gymnasiums and lyceums, including 3 evening schools and 1457 day schools. Day education is organized in 83 primary schools, 829 gymnasiums, 497 lyceums, 19 general schools, 29 schools for children with delays in the intelectual or physical development.

National Bureau of Statistics informs, that in November 2011 the prices in total for industry have increased in comparison with October 2011 with 0,5%. In comparison with December 2010 the industrial production price index has increased with - 7,7%, and with - 8,8% in comparison with November 2010.

National Bureau of Statistics informs, that exports of goods in October 2011 registered a value of 211,2 mio. US dollars, which is with 15,7% more than in the previous month and with 21,4% more than in October 2010. Imports of goods in October 2011 registered a value of 468,4 mio. US dollars, which is with 3,3% less than in the previous month and with 25,4% more than in Octomber 2010.

The National Bureau of Statistics informs, that in November 2011 compared to October 2011 the consumer price index (CPI) registered 100,7%, and 108,9% compared to November 2010. From the beginning of the year consumer prices increased with 7,6%.
