The National Bureau of Statistics informs that, in January-March 2022 the volume of construction works decreased compared to the same period of 2021 by 4,9%, due to the decrease, by structural elements, of the volume of maintenance and current repairs by 21,5%, and new construction by 5,8%.

The National Bureau of Statistics informs that, in January-March 2021, the construction works executed by the entities amounted to 2,1 billion lei, increasing by 8,0% in comparable prices compared to the similar period of 2020.
20.05.2019 The touristic activity of tourism agencies and tour-operators in January-March 2019
The National Bureau of Statistics informs that, in January-March 2019 tourism agencies and tour-operators provided tourism services to 38,3 thousand tourists and excursionists, with 7,3% more than in the corresponding period of 2018. The growth of the number of tourists and excursionists was caused by increase of internal tourism, inbound tourism. In the same time, the number of tourists decreased of outbound tourism.

National Bureau of Statistics informs that, in January-March 2014, 463 apartments with the total area of 59,8 thou. m² were completed. This indicator is in decreased with 13,7% as compared with the corresponding period of the previous year.

National Bureau of Statistics communicates that, in January-March 2014 enterprises and organizations all types of economic activities carried out investments to the amount of 2169,9 mio. Lei (current prices). This indicator is in increase with 3,0% (comparable prices) as compared with the corresponding period of the previous year.

National Bureau of Statistics informs that, the number of stable population of the Republic of Moldova on 1 January, 2014 accounted 3557,6 thousands persons from which 699,8 thousands persons or each the fifth person is aged up to 18 years old.The number of 37,9 thousand persons constituted the live births in 2013 or with 1564 persons (4%) less than in the previous year.

National Bureau of Statistics informs that, in March 2014 the average gross nominal earnings constituted 3912,4 Lei and it increased with 7,3% compared to March 2013. The index of the real salary in March 2014 compared to March 2013 was 101,5%.

National Bureau of Statistics is announcing that, in 2013 on the territory of the country there were placed 779 water supply systems, of which 605 units - public ownership, 171 - private, 3 - mixed ownership.

National Bureau of Statistics informs that, in April 2014 enterprises of railway, road, river and air transport, transported 978,5 thou. tonnes of goods, with 2,7% more than in the previous month and with 0,1% less than in April 2013. In January-April 2014 enterprises of railway, road, river and air transport, have transported 3215,5 thou. tonnes of goods, with 8,9% more than in the corresponding period of the previous year.

National Bureau of Statistics informs that, the indices of industrial production in January-March 2014 compared to January-March 2013 constituted 106,3%. In March 2014 compared to March 2013 the indices of industrial production registered 99,3%.
16.05.2014 Attendance of establishments of collective touristic accommodation in January-March 2014
National Bureau of Statistics informs that, in January-March 2014 38,2 thou. tourists attended the establishments of collective touristic accommodation, of which 20,9 thou. Moldovan tourists (54,6%) and 17,3 thou. foreign tourists (45,4%). In comparison with January-March 2013 the number of tourists has increased (+4,7%), mainly due to the increase of the number of tourists in health-care structures (21,4%), hotels and motels (+10,1%).

National Bureau of Statistics informs that, exports of goods in March 2014 registered a value of 214,2 mio. US dollars, with 13,8% more than in the previous month and with 4,2% less compared to March 2013. In January-March 2014 exports summed up 573,1 mio. USD, less than in the corresponding period of 2013 with 2,8%. Imports of goods in March 2014 registered a value of 483,0 mio. US dollars, with 16,2% more than in the previous month and with 1,0% less compared to March 2013. In January-March 2014 imports summed up 1218,2 mio. USD, less than in the corresponding period of 2013 with 2,0%.

National Bureau of Statistics informs that, in 2013 number of deceased was 38060 persons, with 1500 persons (3,8%) less compared to the previous year, the general mortality rate constituted 10,7 deceased per 1000 inhabitants.

National Bureau of Statistics informs that, in 2013 by leasing companies were leased out fixed assets with total value of 1136,8 mio. Lei or with 320,7 mio. Lei (with 39,3%) more than in 2012.
05.05.2014 City infrastructure and sanitation activities in urban localities in 2013
National Bureau of Statistics reports that of the total area of urban land, 7,4 thou. hectares or 9,1% are occupied by green spaces. During 2007-2012 the area of green spaces is more or less the same, but has decreased copmparing to 2005-2006 years.
