The National Bureau of Statistics informs that in October 2021, industrial production increased by 11,0% compared to the corresponding month of the previous year, against the background of the decrease of production in October 2020 compared to the corresponding month of 2019 by 7,8%.
20.12.2021 Innovation activity of enterprises in the Republic of Moldova in the years 2019-2020
The National Bureau of Statistics informs that, the number of innovative enterprises in the period of 2019-2020 constituted 448 enterprises, representing 12,6% of the total number of enterprises included in the survey. Of the total number of innovative enterprises, 50% made several types of innovations, 17% made product and/or process innovation, 34% - organizational and/or marketing methods innovation.
26.12.2016 Freight and passenger transportation in the Republic of Moldova in January-November 2016
National Bureau of Statistics informs that, in November 2016 enterprises of railway, road, river and air transport, have transported 1297,3 thou. tonnes of goods, with 12,8% less than in the previous month and with 2,0% - compared to November 2015. The turnover of goods in November 2016 summed up 391,0 mio. tonne-km, with 1,8% less than in the previous month and with 9,8% more compared to November 2015.
26.12.2016 Activity of the primary and general secondary education institutions, beginning of the academic year 2016/17
National Bureau of Statistics informs that, in the academic year 2016/17, primary and general secondary education is provided in 1291 units, including 122 primary schools, 788 secondary schools, 366 high schools and 15 schools for children with intelectual or physical disabilities. Compared to previous academic year, the number of primary and general secondary institutions has decreased with 32 units.

National Bureau of Statistics informs that, in October 2016 the average gross nominal earnings constituted 5109,2 Lei, an increase of 11,9% compared to October 2015. The index of the real salary in October 2016 compared to October 2015 was 109,2%, more with 9,2% compared to previous year.
21.12.2016 The activity of higher education institutions in the academic year 2016/17
National Bureau of Statistics informs that, the higher education institutions network have a total of 30 units including 19 state and 11 non-state institutions. Most of them, mainly 26 units are located in Chişinău municipality and 1 unit each in Balţi and Cahul, Taraclia and Comrat. At the beginning of academic year 2016/17, the number of students was 74,7 thousand (excluding foreign students), of which 83 percent are enrolled in state institutions.
20.12.2016 Population incomes and expenditures in quarter III 2016
National Bureau of Statistics informs that, in quarter III 2016, monthly disposable incomes of population summed up in average per person 2080,5 lei, which is with 5,2% more than in the similar period of 2015. In real terms (adjusted to the consumer price index) population incomes were almost at the same level as in previous year.
15.12.2016 Gross Domestic Product in the Republic of Moldova in the third quarter and in January-September 2016
National Bureau of Statistics informs that, in the third quarter of 2016 the Gross domestic product on gross series totaled 39749 mil. lei current market prices, increasing - in real terms - by 6,3% compared to quarter III of 2015. On the series seasonally adjusted, Gross domestic product increased by 7,3% compared to third quarter of 2015 and by 3,0% compared to the second quarter of 2016.
14.12.2016 Activity of technical vocational institutions in academic year 2016/17
At the beginning of the academic year 2016/17, the number of vocational technical education institutions was 86 units, including 11 centers of excellence, 32 colleges and 43 vocational schools. 48,8 thou. pupils study in technical vocational institutions, of which 14,4 thou. - in centers of excellence and 17,2 thou. pupils each in vocational schools and colleges.

National Bureau of Statistics informs that, the indices of industrial production in January-October 2016 compared to January-October 2015 registered 99,4%. In October 2016 compared to October 2015 the indices of industrial production registered 97,8%.

National Bureau of Statistics informs that, exports of goods in October 2016 registered a value of 200,9 mio. US dollars, with 3,7% more than in the previous month and with 6,5% more compared to October 2015. Imports of goods in October 2016 registered a value of 380,3 mio. US dollars, with 5,2% more than in the previous month and with 12,8% - compared to October 2015.

The National Bureau of Statistics informs that, in November 2016 the annual inflation (for the last 12 months from November 2015 to November 2016) registered 2,6%, including: food products – 3,2%, nonfood products – 3,5% and services – 0,6%.
05.12.2016 Labour force in the Republic of Moldova: employment and unemployment in the III-rd quarter 2016
National Bureau of Statistics informs that, in the III-rd quarter 2016 the economically active population of the Republic of Moldova was 1337,0 thousand persons, less with 0,9% compared to the III-rd quarter 2015. The structure of the active population has not changed significantly: 97,1% are employed persons and 2,9% - unemployed.
