National Bureau of Statistics informs that in March 2010 the prices in total for industry have increased in comparison with February 2010 with 0,3%. In comparison with December 2009 the industrial production price index has increased with 5,0%, and with 10,2% in comparison with March 2009.

The National Bureau of Statistics informs that exports of goods in February 2010 registered a value of 110,6 mln. US dollars, which is 30,8% more than in the previous month and 14,2% more than in February 2009. Imports of goods in February 2010 registered a value of 252,0 mln. National Bureau of Statistics presents data on remuneration of employees in the Republic of Moldova. In January-March 2009 the average salary of one employee in national economy constituted 2569,1 MDL and it increased compared to the same period of the previous year with 12%. The real salary in the same period of time increased with about 9%. In the budgetary sector the average salary was 2208,6 MDL, and icreased against the January-March 2008 with 23%.

The volume index of industrial production in comparison with January-March 2008 constituted 75,8% (comparable prices). In March 2009 in comparison with March 2008 this index constituted 79,5%.

National Bureau of Statistics informs that in January-March 2009 enterprises of railway, road, river and air transport, have transported 1527,8 thou. tonnes of goods, or 35,6% of the total volume realized in same period of the previous year. The decrease of the volume of transported goods has been registered by railway (-69,4%), road transport (-52,5%) and air (-14,2%) transport.

National Bureau of Statistics announces that agricultural production in all types of households in quarter I 2009, according to preliminary estimations, was about 1019 million MDL in current prices, registering 103,7% in comparable prices against the same period of the previous year. The increase of global agricultural production was determined by the essential increase of animal production - with 3,6% and of vegetal production - with 6,9%.

The National Bureau of Statistics presents data regarding the Consumer Price Indices (the level of inflation). In March 2009 compared to February 2009 the Consumer Price Indices registered 99,2%, and 101,2% compared to March 2008 (in March 2008 compared to February 2008 IPC registered 101,1% and 115,4% compared to March 2007).
